Remembrance Day Gettysburg PA 2005

On November 19, 1963 Abraham Lincoln gave his famous address at the dedication of the National Military Cemetery. Each year the Battery holds a ceremony at the graves of the Rhode Islanders lost there.  A parade of over 3000 re-enactors, passes thru the town ending at the Battle Field park. That night the cemetery is illuminated with luminaries (candles), one for each Civil war soldiers grave.
